This document details the process of linking your Stripe account to Wise App to collect payments for your online courses. However, it's important to note that this functionality might not be available on all billing plans.

Prerequisites

• An active Wise App account.

• A valid Stripe account with appropriate permissions to receive payments.

• A Wise App billing plan that supports linking external payment gateways (check your plan details or contact Wise App support for confirmation).

Linking Stripe to Wise App

1. Choosing the Right Billing Plan:

Ensure your Wise App subscription includes linking external payment gateways like Stripe. If you're unsure, navigate to your account settings or contact Wise App support for clarification. Upgrading your plan might be necessary to access this feature.

2. Accessing Payment Settings:

• Once you've confirmed your billing plan allows it, log in to your Wise App account and navigate to the "Institute Settings" section. Look for the "Payments" within your institute settings.

• Within the payment settings, locate the option to add or configure a payment gateway. You should see an option for Stripe.

3. Finding Your Stripe API Keys:

To add Stripe as a payment gateway in Wise App, you'll need your Stripe Publishable Key and Secret Key. Here's how to find them in your Stripe account:

1. Go to https://dashboard.stripe.com/

2. Click Developers

3. Ensure you are in Live Mode and NOT in Test Mode

4. Click api keys tab

5. Click create restricted key and give it a specific name eg. WISE Integration

   
6. Select the below permissions (ss2)

   1. All Checkout Sessions: WRITE

   2. All Webhooks Resources: WRITE

   

   
7. Click Apply Changes at the bottom of the page.

8. Click on Reveal live key (ss3)

Do not share these credentials with anyone other than trusted Wise App support personnel if needed.

4. Adding Credentials to Wise App:

Once you have your Stripe Publishable Key and Secret Key, return to the Wise App payment settings. When selecting Stripe, paste your credentials into the designated fields. Follow the on-screen instructions to authorize Wise App to connect with your Stripe account.

• Linking Stripe is subject to your chosen Wise App billing plan.

• Ensure you have the necessary permissions within your Stripe account to connect with external platforms.

• Transaction fees might still apply depending on your Stripe account setup.
